The lesson of the day is:
Far more important than not letting your customer know it is your fault, is not letting your customer know it is not their fault and then jumping through your ass to pull things together at the last minute as though you had only been waiting on them this whole time, and then looking like a hero who just saved their bacon.

Or, as we call it here at The Robot Farm (where we farm for robots and not where robots farm)
