Lets write something else for 15 minutes

My latest exercise in educational insomnia delved deep into the dreaming. It is important to recognize that the dreaming is infinite, with the only limitations being those of the dreamer. Subconsciously I sought to exceed my limitations, so I stretched out my silver strand of astral projection to its near limit, then entered the dreaming of another in an attempt to reach even further into the infinite reaches of the dreaming.
The textures were rich and the details alarming. Never has the dreaming seemed so vibrant, but it was not without cost. Algorithmic variables gleaned from Inception had creeped into my subconscious interpretation of events. Something triggered my wakefulness and the double rebound was like a gut punch to the solar plexus of my mind, metaphorically stunning the xiphoid and paralyzing my breathing. A mere 20 minutes had passed, though it felt like a day. I was exhausted, lethargic, but unable to regain a restful state for hours. I had gone too far, and at a terrible cost, but I had survived and learned from it.

Now…..if only I could do that on purpose.

About Rick Wasserman

Here is my second round of blogging as my first round in Blog 1 seems to have evaporated. I have been writing for decades. Most of it is crap, but you probably figured that out on your own.
