Hi there, I am Rick Wasserman, the author of the DePlanetae series, the Mind Hunter/Feral Project.
I have recently had a short stoy called "The Longest Night" published in the anthology Hungry Hearts by Inkstained Succubus Productions, under the pen name C.Smith, of course.
This site was constructed by me with the aid of technologies I don't understand and can barely control. It is to allow people to learn more about me and what I do when I write my insanities down on paper. Be advised that It is full of spoilers, all the better for prospective agents to gain a feel for my works in the hope that they will consider representing me.
Feel free to peruse, or even leave me a message.
Just a crazy man with a dream of worlds within worlds strung together with hyperphysics.
I'm harmless, mostly.
Though there was that one time when I smashed my head in frustration against the computer keyboard and accidentally wrote the 5th Twilight book.
Where the plot line has the Werewolves in a battle to the death with the Unicorns.
Not to worry though, if there is one thing I know how to do, it is how to destroy evil with fire.
Its nothing but ashes now.... and yet another literary tragedy is averted.
Oh, one more thing.
My sister tells me that If you Google my name, you might discover that Rick D Wasserman Is a professional voice actor. He was the voice of the The Hulk in Planet Hulk, and the Voice of Batman in Arkham City and loads of other things.
That...is not me.
I am Rick L Wasserman, and I might be moderately jealous of my namesake.
But, I like his work, so I will let it be.
Maybe one day I could have him be the voice of my Professor Von Teasa?
That would be neat!
I am an unpublished author, verbose philosopher, genius inventor (in my mind), robotic technologist (not in my mind),and borderline burlesquer (if such a word exists), among other things.
Want to know what drives me insane?
Thinking too much...
What if every story that had ever been written really did happen?
What if each story existed simultaneously in its own universe, with its own unique past and future timeline and you could visit them.
What then, would reality be like?
My first book “De Planetae: The Book of the Wanderers” begins to explore that question.
After all, the best way to get that crazy out of your head is to put it down on paper.
Just read it once before you burn it.
Who knows, with a little revision it might be worth something.
